A multidisciplinary innovation project delivered through the East Midlands Investment Zone initiative with the University of Derby and Bloc Digital.
The challenge
Manufacturing, engineering, logistics, construction and inspection teams need clearer ways to connect live operational information with contextual knowledge and causal insight.
The approach
The prototype combined digital representations of physical assets with an AI-powered backend using graph-based, edge-enabled Retrieval-Augmented Generation. My focus was a responsive interface that made the system’s advanced capabilities understandable and usable.
My contribution
Developed the front-end interface for the first-phase prototype.
Integrated the user experience with an AI-powered graph-based RAG-LLM backend.
Supported real-time interaction, behavioural monitoring and informed decision-making workflows.
Collaborated with developers, researchers and industry experts to align the prototype with real-world requirements.
