I have often found myself taking responsibility. I am still learning that leadership is less about being the loudest voice and more about helping people feel heard, represented and able to move forward.

Take responsibility
I have often found myself stepping forward when something needs ownership, even before I feel completely ready.
Serve with integrity
Leadership means little to me if it is separated from honesty, empathy and a genuine desire to help.
Leave people stronger
I want people, teams and communities to feel more confident and capable because I was part of their journey.

Responsibility kept finding me.

I represented my classmates during my MA and learned how much trust is involved in speaking on behalf of other people.

I was elected to represent more than 34,000 students, coordinate academic representation and contribute to the governance of a charity.

Looking ahead
Public impact
The journey continues
I am open about the possibility that public service, and perhaps politics, may become part of my future. For now, I am focused on becoming the kind of leader worthy of that responsibility.

I am open to where service may lead.
I may find myself in politics someday. I say that with a smile, but the interest is genuine. For now, I am focused on learning how to listen carefully, serve responsibly and create meaningful public impact.
I do not need to force the next title. I want to keep building the character, discipline and understanding needed for whatever responsibility comes next.
